Jean Larcher (original) large envelope artwork.

This is an A4/Letter size white envelope front page. Filled with the écriture anglaise - L'Anglaise (English) Copperplate style calligraphy by Jean Larcher. Written with his favoured Gillott 303 nib, in Black & Red colours of 'Linel extra-fine' gouache, this has the gluey texture he preferred to use, as it has ink-stretching ability for his 'speciality' broad copperplate strokes, up to 4.5mm wide from the 303 nib. & of course his detailed flourishing work, scrolled across all available 'white-spaces'. Here is the chance to study up-close & own, an original Jean Larcher penstroke calligraphy work, a lesson in itself. Just see the image above to get a taste of this work!

KERN PRONTOGRAPH WRITING TEMPLATES.

Sample pictures show the ITALIC style lettering of the 0.35, 0.50 size templates.
Kern Prontograph writing templates are available in 2x sizes. You can use them with these sizes of technical pen;
0.35 tip, 0.50 tip. The style of lettering is slightly leaning, that is, in an ITALIC style.
Actually any brand of technical pen held vertically in these templates will allow writing of the templates lettering. This includes Kern, Reform, Rotring, Staedtler, Erograph etc.
Each template has the CAPITALs, lower case letters, plus most other symbols - like [ ], ( ), ?, +, -, /, * and arrows etc. Another feature of successful neat writing with one of these templates with a tech' pen, is the raised template. It slides above your paper/card on 2 (top & bottom) aluminium rails, this stops wet ink from touching the template as you write. It can also be turned upside down to get reverse characters, with the same effect.
